Since 2009, Wells Fargo and Golden Apple Foundation of New Mexico have partnered to provide opportunities for academic enrichment and to encourage positive change in New Mexico classrooms. Wells Fargo and Golden Apple Foundation of New Mexico invite New Mexico Teachers in public, private and charter schools, prekindergarten through 12th grade, to participate in the Wells Fargo/Golden Apple Teacher Partner Program.
Teachers are invited to submit applications for financial support for classroom books or supplies, field trips, classroom technology, and/or professional development.
Since its inception, the Wells Fargo/Golden Apple Teacher Partner Program has provided more than $473,071 to fund 298 projects serving over 57,000 New Mexico students. Grants have been made to over 205 public schools, 41 public charter schools, and 46 private schools. Awards have averaged $1,481, and grantees have surpassed 105 elementary schools, 40 middle schools, and 40 high schools. Wells Fargo created the Teacher Partner Program to provide opportunities for academic enrichment and to encourage positive change in classroom instruction. Deadline for applications is October 10*(postmarked).
